Import ShowCase 2012
February 16th, 2012 by RobertAnother wonderful day in Southern California and this time it we head to Torrance California, the site was K1 Kart Racing for Import Showcase 2012 brought to you by Import Fashion.
When we arrived we noticed the ghetto bird flying around and the Piggy’s blocking traffic, we thought for a min that the event would be cancelled. After scoping out the scene we noticed that the parking lot was opened. So we made our way in, the lot was packed and was lucky to get a parking spot.
Import Fashion staff were dressed in burgundy t-shirts and not hard to find! The event went smoothly cars and females a plenty.
My team was unable to hit the Kart Racing track due to availability issues but next time we shall make it out to the track and I will show all who is the king of the ring!
Props to Import Fashion for putting this thing together!

Red Bull Butter Cup: Drinkys Easton, PA
February 12th, 2012 by Elusive MediaLast year Red Bull helped sponsor a local event called Rail Jam, which Drinky’s created. Because of the success of last years event, Red Bull added Easton, PA as one of it’s stops on the Butter Cup Series. Unlike last year, which allowed skiers to be involved, this event was for snowboarders only with women, men, and kids broken into different heats. As Red Bull says it, “more flow and smoother than ever before”; This let the riders have more freedom to show of their style. Despite the warmer weather all season, organizers brought in over 40 tons of snow which was needed for the 16ft high ramp and 180ft area w/ a mix of rails and jumps.
Winners: Under 13 – Thomas Melchiore Women – Jess Kurman Best Trick – Kyle Luza Pro – Peter Pape

31st New York International Motorcycle Show
January 25th, 2012 by Elusive MediaProgressive Insurance sponsors this year’s NY International show with a great lineup of the latest and greatest bikes from gas to full electric. This years layout was fantastic, much easier to walk for checking out the production bikes to full customized bikes in the center walk ways. Everyone loves to check out rare bikes, Dream Pavilion had exactly that, from KTM’s new sportbike, MV August F3, to a trials bike. Smages Bros, from America’s Got Talent, was there to show you what Trial bikes are all about, they put on one hell of a show! As more new riders join our community, The Learning Curve had 2 dozen free seminars to raise your “Motorcycling IQ”, from picking up your motorcycle, your gear, competition, and service/maintenance. If that wasn’t enough to keep you busy, Kawasaki Design-A-Bike, Marketplace, and guests appearances will do the job!

So you think you can STANCE | It’s JDM Yo!
January 23rd, 2012 by RobertAre you so low that it takes an hour to angle up that slightly inclined driveway that even my 90 year old grandfather can wheel chair up by himself? Do you think you have the best technique and style for getting up that fucked up driveway? Then prove it! Come to it’s jdm yo! “So you think you can STANCE?” competition being held at Trendy Threadz Facility in Santa Fe Springs
The guy’s at It’s JDM Yo! came up with an idea to have all the owners of the cleanest rides not only park them and get style points but actually drive them and show off some driving skills.
Lots of eye candy to look at and man it was fun hearing all the oooohs and damnnnnns screaming from the crowd when the contestants took aim at the incline driveway.

LFL: Philadelphia Passion – 74, Toronto Triumph – 0
December 11th, 2011 by Elusive MediaAnother team learns a hard lesson at the Philadelphia Passion home game. If you were a Passion fan, this was one exciting game to watch, while Triumph fans prayed to see at least see some points on the board by the end of the game. You couldn’t say the Triumph team didn’t play hard, with many fights erupting during the second half, they were determined to play hard till the bitter end.
Passion finishes with an impressive record of 4-0! Besides having a perfect winning record as their 2010-11 season, Passion sets another record with the highest score in the LFL franchise history , 74 points head of there opponents. With the playoffs at the end of January, lets hope this win takes them to all the way to a championship year.
