[COVERAGE] MPACT 2018 Motorsports Festival and Car Show
August 14th, 2018 by Elusive MediaMPACT Motorsports Festival and Car show is exactly as it sounds! A collection of what car fans love about motorsports and a show warped around it! Track Day with HPDE, the front straight of Pocono Raceway for rolling racing, drifting ride alongs, and a lot closed off to show off a bit to the crowd, aka some burnouts/drifting around a 1000RR! Like most shows this year, weather played a big part of the day. The forecast wasn’t in our favor, but with Bimmerfest not happening this year, and with MPACT being rain or shine, anyone with a BMW had to make the venture up to the Pocono Mountains. Anyone that did make the journey was not disappointed by quality of cars and vendors that showed. I personally love to pick up maintenance parts and cleaning supplies at MPACT each year. With the heavy down pours in the afternoon, some decided to pack it in early, and most ran for cover in the paddock(get to know your fellow enthusiast!), but a few wanted to “soak” up the experience in the rain! The music kept going, the storm eventually passed and the event continued! Enjoy these wet and fun photos!

[COVERAGE] MPACT 2015 Motorsports Festival and Car Show
July 17th, 2015 by Elusive MediaWe all lucked out with a picturesque drive into the Poconos mountains with temperatures in the lower 80s and sunny. This summer has seen a lot of rain so far, so everyone was super stoked to have a rain free event. This is the 2nd year at Pocono Raceway and MPACT separates itself from any other event by combining what we all love, motorsports and car shows. Rolling Race on the tri-oval, HPDE on the inside tracks, Dyno, drifting with a drift taxi, and the burnout contents kept car enthusiast’s busy between checking out vendors and cars. Before the day came to a close, awards were given out the car show, rolling race, & Dyno HP shootout winners along with some bragging rights.
Huge congrats to the MPACT team for another fantastic event!!

[COVERAGE] Season Opener
May 16th, 2015 by Elusive MediaHappy Mothers Day! Clean Culture & ImportExpo’s Season Opener is here! Track, Show, Drift, and Meet event! Could you ask for anything anymore? Despite it being mothers day, the turnout was huge! I’m told last year they had over 3000 cars and 4000 attendees! But even after three hours of the event kicking off, there was still at 30 minute line to get parked! Does anyone have the final numbers, because they should be impressive! Besides the vast amount of cars park in the many car lots, they had a VIP section that allowed you to park near all the action, vendors, DJ and contests. If drifting or track wasn’t your thing, which it should be, they also had a “2 step” contest, which is essentially is who has the loudest car. With all the said, lots of clean cars and with the perfect weather, it gave me some excellent photos! Enjoy!

[COVERAGE] Carlisle Performance & Style ’13
May 20th, 2013 by Elusive MediaPerformance and Style never fails with a vast variety of cars, vendors, and contests throughout the entire weekend. P&S kicked off the weekend with a late afternoon cruise-in and the recently popular “Limbo” style contest. Even with a chance of rain for Friday night into saturday, the cars kept rolling in. Auto-X and drifting took place through the day, as showers made the track a bit more of a challenge. Ms. Carlisle P&S gets a refresh this year, as they broke the contest into 2 parts; feedback from participants and spectators all agreed it was a great change. Midday the sun breaks from the clouds, which was perfect timing as the 2nd park of Ms. Carlisle starts and shortly after the popular burnout competition, which had some hilarious and outstanding cars participating. Annie Costello takes the crown for Ms. Carlisle while Chris Taber in his ’77 Chevy Camaro. For all the winners, check out carlisleevents.com.

Red Bull Butter Cup: Drinkys Easton, PA
February 12th, 2012 by Elusive MediaLast year Red Bull helped sponsor a local event called Rail Jam, which Drinky’s created. Because of the success of last years event, Red Bull added Easton, PA as one of it’s stops on the Butter Cup Series. Unlike last year, which allowed skiers to be involved, this event was for snowboarders only with women, men, and kids broken into different heats. As Red Bull says it, “more flow and smoother than ever before”; This let the riders have more freedom to show of their style. Despite the warmer weather all season, organizers brought in over 40 tons of snow which was needed for the 16ft high ramp and 180ft area w/ a mix of rails and jumps.
Winners: Under 13 – Thomas Melchiore Women – Jess Kurman Best Trick – Kyle Luza Pro – Peter Pape

One of Camelbacks annual events, Contests try and skim across the pond without crashing…sounds simple enough. Most people that attempt this try and add some flare; costumes, tricks, doubles, backwards, …etc. Pretty much anything goes that will get the crowd excited. This year is was a comfortable 70f and sunny along with the annual parking lot party. Along with some photos, i recorded some of the good crashes… enjoy!
