If you missed last year Reunion show in New Jersey, HIN brings new class competition along with over 30 models to the Model Lounge, Bikini Contest, Freestyle Dance Competition, & the Miss HIN PA Model Content. Not only could you win a trophy this year for your car, but you could also walk away with over a $1000 in cash! Everything from lighting(Presented by Sylvania Zevo), Engine(Presented by Valvoline), trunk, Top Honors, Audio, and of course “Best of Show”; all came with cash prizes! Hot Import Nights was bringing their “A Game” to the Tri-State area. With some many great categories and contests to compete in, it brought many types of great rides to check out along with the beautiful women, so enjoy the coverage!!

[COVERAGE] Tuner Evolution – Philadelphia
August 10th, 2015 by Elusive MediaTuner Evolution has always been one of those shows we all count down the days for, why? We know it will be well organized, plenty of entertainment, vendors we are interested in, beautiful ladies in the model lounge, and only the best cars make the cut. This year Tuner Evolution invited back the Drift RC Comp/Demo along with the popular Breakdance Comp/Demo. The main stage also had live music and DJs throughout the day, until the Bikini Contest and Awards finish off the night. Because the show attracts such a wide audience of enthusiasts, the show also expanded into another section of the Expo Center, which allowed more car builders to show off and unveil their builds. We also had fire alarm go off which sent us all outside for about an hour. While this was a minor inconvenience, we all just continued to chat with our friends before getting the all clear to reenter the building. The show is not only organized car enthusiasts but the staff live the lifestyle every day. They know what their fans what to see and for almost 10 years, i have left the show disappointed. Thanks to the Tuner Evo Staff for another successful year that we will all remember!

[COVERAGE] Carlisle Performance & Style ’15
July 31st, 2015 by Elusive MediaCarlisle Performance & Style returns after a 14 month break. The show has always been on mother’s day weekend, but with the absents of Bike Fest, Performance & Style had an easy spot in July to fill it in. Plus over the past few year, having P&S in early May, weather was always questionable; with the last few years cold and rainy. While we didn’t have an rain free weekend, Saturday did have a heavy down pour that lasted about 60 minutes. The rain did give a nice relief from the heat, as it was in the 90s. Performance & Style changed the way the exhaust competition worked this year. Instead of every other show I know, the car sits in place and revs, while this event had the driver drive off from a standstill. While I think it worked pretty well, they could of used a bit more room to get the rpm’s higher in 2nd gear before breaking to turn around. Look forward to see how they modify this next year. As past years, burnout is the crowd pleaser and they seemed to have a record amount of entries of fans that wanted to abuse their car for the title. Here’s a first after all the years, a surprise proposal. The first burnout contestant and the announcer had an “issue” with the insurance papework, and in the middle of getting it all sorted out, the guy gets on one knee in front of the whole grandstand, and asks his girlfriend, “Will you marry me”? …. Well done! And Congrats to both!! They also had 2 round of the beauty contest along with NICOFest drifting on the auto-x all day long. P&S also has a strong showing of car clubs, so between all that, you had your weekend full!!

[COVERAGE] MPACT 2015 Motorsports Festival and Car Show
July 17th, 2015 by Elusive MediaWe all lucked out with a picturesque drive into the Poconos mountains with temperatures in the lower 80s and sunny. This summer has seen a lot of rain so far, so everyone was super stoked to have a rain free event. This is the 2nd year at Pocono Raceway and MPACT separates itself from any other event by combining what we all love, motorsports and car shows. Rolling Race on the tri-oval, HPDE on the inside tracks, Dyno, drifting with a drift taxi, and the burnout contents kept car enthusiast’s busy between checking out vendors and cars. Before the day came to a close, awards were given out the car show, rolling race, & Dyno HP shootout winners along with some bragging rights.
Huge congrats to the MPACT team for another fantastic event!!

[COVERAGE] Formula Drift: RD4 The Gauntlet
July 6th, 2015 by Elusive Media“Come Hell or High Water” is what the ForumlaD fans & drivers said to the race weekends forecast. Rain and at times heavy, plagued this weekend with track conditions changing every other battle. Since the heaviest rain was said to arrive in the evening, the schedule was bumped down one hour which really played in everyone’s favor. While we had some great battles in the Top 32, there was also many favorites that that “The Gantlet” forced an early exit.
Between the Top 32 and Top 16, heavy down pours soaked the dried out track, but within a few minutes of the opening ceremonies, the rain breaks and gives the fans a great start to the final battles. Tho the rain had stopped, the first couple of battles looked like they were in slow motion. Drivers had to be extra careful with the lack of grip and steep bank with the transition on to the inter-circle. The final 4 would end in a exciting fashion as a steady rain showing up for the final battle. The first battle (dry track), Dean Kearney defeats Ryan Tuerck. Ryan can only now hope that Yokoi would lose to Aasbo since he qualified higher and could then claim 3rd place on the podium. Luck was on his side as Yokoi makes a few mistakes and Aasbo moves on to the finals. At this point, the rain started to pick up. The drivers were allowed a test run to get a feel for track and then we were off! While the rain returns the drives back to slow-motion drifting, Aasbo is able to gain a lead on Kearney. Fredric Aasbo takes his second 1st place in 2015 while making this his 2nd win at wall stadium speedway.
The championship is now wide open, with the top 3 only a few points from each other… going to be an exciting 2nd half!! Enjoy the photos and see you at the next round or via the online stream!

[COVERAGE] CF Charity Super Car Show!
May 31st, 2015 by Elusive MediaCF Charity put on its 3rd Super Car show for 100% of it proceeds going to their Charity; which helps dental care and oral health education in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Camden public and parochial schools. I attend many car shows throughout the year, but this as been the first time i’ve attended this show. The amount of rare Hyper and Exotic cars that are at the event is well worth the drive! Tho with the chance of rain & thunderstorms all day(80%), many super cars showed up, but many didn’t stay too long, so i hope you arrived early! The event also introduced Karting & Slalom; its always better to hear and see the super cars in motion!

[COVERAGE] Season Opener
May 16th, 2015 by Elusive MediaHappy Mothers Day! Clean Culture & ImportExpo’s Season Opener is here! Track, Show, Drift, and Meet event! Could you ask for anything anymore? Despite it being mothers day, the turnout was huge! I’m told last year they had over 3000 cars and 4000 attendees! But even after three hours of the event kicking off, there was still at 30 minute line to get parked! Does anyone have the final numbers, because they should be impressive! Besides the vast amount of cars park in the many car lots, they had a VIP section that allowed you to park near all the action, vendors, DJ and contests. If drifting or track wasn’t your thing, which it should be, they also had a “2 step” contest, which is essentially is who has the loudest car. With all the said, lots of clean cars and with the perfect weather, it gave me some excellent photos! Enjoy!

[COVERAGE] Exxxotica New Jersey
November 16th, 2014 by Elusive MediaIf you can believe it, this is our 7th year covering this show and ever year Exxxotica finds a way to make it bigger and better than the following year. Exxxotica expanding there marketing this year and adding a “ladies free on Friday” promo, which helped an attendance increase of 23% compared to last year. Not only did marketing help, but with over 200 adult stars, over 100 exhibitors and weekend full of seminars and live shows on the main stage, you can see why show increases in popularity. You will be sure, Exxxotica NJ will be back next year to step it up once again.

[COVERAGE] Hot Import Nights NJ/NY
September 3rd, 2014 by Elusive MediaHot Import Nights returns! After many years of seeing HIN listed for the NJ/NY region, it always seemed to get cancelled as the date drew closer. When i go back to thinking of car shows, HIN was always the show to mark down on your calendar. Hot Import Nights still separates themselves from every other show with the HIN Model Search contest, live bands, Vapor Lounge, and good atmosphere. HIN still keeps to their roots and has sections of the expo center set with low ambient lighting. In these sections, cars can show off their neon setups. Hot Import nights had a wide verity of cars. Neon, clean, classic, exotics; you pretty much had something for everyone. HIN coverage wouldn’t be complete without the models, so enjoy a mix of cars and models photos!

[COVERAGE] WekFEST East
August 20th, 2014 by Elusive MediaWekFEST returns to bring us the cleanest unique mix of cars on the east coast. This show follows the weekend after the Indianapolis MotoGP, so having a top class car event in a short drive, I’m all in! There has been a lot of show that i’ve enjoyed over the years, but WekFEST always returns and keeping the show in high standings for everyone. The WekFEST team knows what the community enjoys and that’s why it has only grown over the short 3yrs on the East Coast!
