[COVERAGE] Dream Ride ’24
September 13th, 2024 by Elusive MediaThe 2024 Dream Ride Experience, held from August 23–25 at the Farmington Polo Club in Farmington, Connecticut, was a record-breaking celebration of community, horsepower, and heart. Organized by The Hometown Foundation, Inc., the event raised an unprecedented $7 million to support Special Olympics athletes and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities .
A standout moment of the weekend was the participation of renowned automotive YouTuber Shmee150. He attended the event with his Ford GT and Mustang Dark Horse, adding to the excitement of the Dream Cruise, where participants offered rides to Dream Riders. Shmee150’s presence was a highlight for many attendees, with fans expressing their excitement about meeting him.
The Dream Ride Experience also featured the Dream Show, showcasing hundreds of exotic and classic cars, including rare models like the Koenigsegg Jesko and Pagani Huayra BC Roadster . Attendees enjoyed live music, a pet adoption expo, a Police K-9 Challenge, a Firefighter Chili Cook-Off, and a family fun zone, creating an inclusive and festive atmosphere for all ages .

[COVERAGE] MPACT 2015 Motorsports Festival and Car Show
July 17th, 2015 by Elusive MediaWe all lucked out with a picturesque drive into the Poconos mountains with temperatures in the lower 80s and sunny. This summer has seen a lot of rain so far, so everyone was super stoked to have a rain free event. This is the 2nd year at Pocono Raceway and MPACT separates itself from any other event by combining what we all love, motorsports and car shows. Rolling Race on the tri-oval, HPDE on the inside tracks, Dyno, drifting with a drift taxi, and the burnout contents kept car enthusiast’s busy between checking out vendors and cars. Before the day came to a close, awards were given out the car show, rolling race, & Dyno HP shootout winners along with some bragging rights.
Huge congrats to the MPACT team for another fantastic event!!

September 26th, 2011 by Elusive MediaThis event worried me a bit, because it’s a rain or shine. Myself and everyone else wanting to see this charity event bring in big numbers for Diabetes Research Institute. At one point during the week, it was 70% rain, but as the week progressed, 70% changed to 30% …thankfully. Last year the event saw some rain, and it reduced the number of attendees, but this year the streets of Glen Cove were full of exotics from Ferarri’s, Lamborghini’s , Aston Martin;s, Maserati’s, to Porsche ( & BMW of course). There was no signs of rain from my long 100 mile drive there or back; 80f & and even a bit of sun during the day! I had a great time and look forward to being apart of this charity even next year. Props to Martino Auto Concepts, Glen Cove, sponsors, vendors & bands for all the work they put into making this a successful charity event!
