This event replaced NightShift event due the unexpected closing of Irwindale Speedway.
Never less this event was jam packed with Hot Cars and of course Hot Females.
All the anticipated imports were in attendance from Hard Stanced JDM rides to Hot looking Euros. American Muscle was also well represented.
This event was even better since they had beer for sale! I was also able to meet some really cool peeps from Team RareJDM who allowed me to store my gear in one of there cars.
Make sure not to miss the next HIN Event you won’t be disappointed.

Import ShowCase 2012
February 16th, 2012 by RobertAnother wonderful day in Southern California and this time it we head to Torrance California, the site was K1 Kart Racing for Import Showcase 2012 brought to you by Import Fashion.
When we arrived we noticed the ghetto bird flying around and the Piggy’s blocking traffic, we thought for a min that the event would be cancelled. After scoping out the scene we noticed that the parking lot was opened. So we made our way in, the lot was packed and was lucky to get a parking spot.
Import Fashion staff were dressed in burgundy t-shirts and not hard to find! The event went smoothly cars and females a plenty.
My team was unable to hit the Kart Racing track due to availability issues but next time we shall make it out to the track and I will show all who is the king of the ring!

AUTOCON

This year the event was held at the location of the first Gymkhana viral video. This place was huge! Food trucks galore, hot females and hot rides no one does it better than Autocon Events!

-You seemed to enjoy being a model, what got you started? Do you see yourself doing this for the long term?
I got my start modeling when I was actually in need of some photos for acting resumes. A friend told me about the website, Model Mayhem and how I could do trade for print. I got myself set up on there and started doing a bunch of different shoots and before I knew it had a ton of new photos. I see myself always modeling since acting is a big passion of mine and the 2 have a tendency to go hand in hand.
-So did modeling come naturally to you?
I guess to some extent. Repetition is definitely key. The more shoots I do the more comfortable in front of the camera and therefore the photos come out better.
-What is the best part about being a model besides cameras snapping at you nonstop?
Working with the photographers is definitely a cool part of modeling. I’ve been very lucky and all the photographers I’ve worked with have been super friendly, fun to work with and incredibly talented. I’ve also always been interested in photography and like it when the photographer explains the different tools they’re using.
-Do you see yourself making a career of modeling?
Honestly, I’m not sure I’d go as far to say a career, but it will definitely be something I do as frequently as I can.
-Outside of modeling, do you have any other career aspirations?
Acting is something I’ve been passionate about for as long as I can remember and is ultimately what I hope to be doing in the long run.
-What is the most awkward moment you’ve encountered in modeling?
Today actually! I was at a casting for a shoe show. I was lined up with 4 other girls and one of the women in charge of casting pointed at the 2 girls to my left and said, “Not you, your feet won’t work.” I thought it was pretty rude. It definitely created an awkward feeling in the room.
-Best moment?
I would say my best moment was when I booked my first shoe show for FFANY during fashion week. They told me I got it right on the spot. My boyfriend was waiting for me in the hall and when I came out I ran up to him saying, “I got it!” He was really happy for me and we were jumping around, we looked pretty crazy =)
-On a typical weekend, where can we find you or what are you doing when you’re not modeling?
On the weekends I’m usually waitressing, which isn’t too bad because the staff is great. Other than that you can usually find me at a local bands show or just hanging out with some friends.
-What do you have a weakness for?
All different type of rock and folk rock music. I’m a HUGE Black Crowes and Led Zeppelin fan!
-What message do you have to aspiring models trying to start out in the industry?
Life’s too short to be timid. Be confident! Don’t be afraid to make a fool of yourself because if you do it’s no big deal.
Go into everything like you got it, and if you don’t just try again!

– Tell us an interesting fact about yourself…
I started playing the guitar a few years ago and have been getting back into it lately and doing some song writing. My whole family is full of musicians, so I’ll definitely have all the materials I need if I want to get out and play a little.
– What is the wildest thing you’ve ever done?
Hmm, it’s hard to choose. A bunch of my friends and I used to sneak into this day camp late at night to go swimming and basically throw a huge party. Things would get pretty wild. It’s amazing we never got caught!

Asianna Vanno: Actually I was doing hair and make-up for a photographer when he asked me to shoot for him. Talk about flattery (:
The more shoots I do, the longer I see myself modeling.
EM: So did modeling come naturally to you?
AV: Surprisingly yeah. I’m assuming it came with being an MUA/hairdresser and being exposed to photoshoots before hand. I got to know what works with what, what looks good on camera, what doesn’t, etc.
EM: What is the best part about being a model besides cameras snapping at you nonstop?
AV: The networking. You meet a lot of people and get access to things you didn’t before.
EM: Do you see yourself making a career of modeling?
AV: If the opportunity presents itself. As of now hair and make-up is where my passion lies.
EM: Outside of modeling, do you have any other career aspirations?
AV: Hair&make-up.
EM: What is the most awkward moment you’ve encountered in modeling?
AV: A creepy photographer once asked me what a “GWC” was.

ElusiveMedia: You seemed to enjoy being a model, what got you started? Do you see yourself doing this for the long term?
Jtezza: I began through photography- a buddy of mine was starting his photography career and needed a model. After practice and as new ideas began to arise, we started producing some awesome shots. That was nearly 4 years and what seems like a million shoots ago and looking back- I never thought I would love it even this much. So many opportunities continue to present themselves and each one has become a new adventure and I would love to continue for as long as possible.
EM: So did modeling come naturally to you?
Jtezza: Some aspects did- My facial expressions were descent, as with my posture, but the bravery and exaggeration it took to make the photos perfect was something I had to learn.
EM: What is the best part about being a model besides cameras snapping at you nonstop?
Jtezza: The ability to take ideas out of my head, dress up, and bring it to life in photos. Even at shows- its always the end result and looking back that gives me that accomplished feeling.
EM: Do you see yourself making a career of modeling?
Jtezza: Perhaps- I work for a few different companies right now that seem to be growing rapidly, and any opportunity I am given will get me one step closer to just that.
EM: Outside of modeling, do you have any other career aspirations?
Jtezza: Most people don’t believe this- but I actually love my car, I probably wont ever make a career out of it, but I enjoy racing it, occasionally drifting it (until that got a little rough on the car), and its always fun to leave little cocky boys a few cars back, hahaha. Also I have this dream of being a lawyer one day.
EM: What is the most awkward moment you’ve encountered in modeling?
Jtezza: I once dressed up as a fallen angel, with black wings and all, and did a shoot outside of a catholic church on a mid Saturday when it seemed to be fairly empty. LOL that was until a wedding party, including the priest came out the front door… all I could do was run.
EM: Best moment?
Jtezza: When I finally started seeing my pics in important places, like websites and such.
EM: On a typical weekend, where can we find you or what are you doing when you’re not modeling?
Jtezza: Lol- track, car meets, or as cliché as it sounds- doin some good old street racing… And those are really my only hobbies…
EM: What do you have a weakness for?
Jtezza: Bad boys (well one in particular right now, hahaha)
EM: What message do you have to aspiring models trying to start out in the industry?
Jtezza: Practice practice practice, never make it a job and it needs to be like a reflex, even today I am always so excited for a shoot because I know it will turn out good- I have the ability to make sure it does.
EM: Do you drive the IS much?
Jtezza: Daily driver- everyday- all the time, that car is my pride and joy. Somehow it became like a trademark for me, I guess since I actually do most the work on it myself and I guess that’s somewhat unbelievable.
EM: What is your dream car?
Jtezza: I have quite a few. I would love to try out the new LFA though. In case you live under a rock and haven’t heard of it, its Lexus’s supercar, go look it up, lol.
