[COVERAGE] Carlisle Performance & Style ’14
May 20th, 2014 by Elusive MediaCarlisle Performance & Style has always been the show to kick off the season and the time to show off those winter projects everyone has been so eager to unveil. The 3 day show starts off with a cruise-in, car showcase, drifting, autocross, and a low car limbo; while the rest of the weekend adds Ms. Carlisle contest and the popular burnout contest. With over over 15,000 enthusiasts that came as far as Canada, there is plenty of cars and vendors to keep you busy all day long. As past years, this weekends forecast wasn’t the best. Passing dark clouds on Saturday miss the fairgrounds for most of the day. But as part 2 of Ms. Carlisle was about to start, the clouds let out a heavy down pour which last a good 20-30 minutes. Thankfully we had break in the storm to let burnout continue just long enough before the second round of rain would hit. Rain doesn’t damper the show, it just gives you some more opportunity to check out the rides in all the buildings!
As i mentioned above about Performance & Style being the kick off show of the season, well this year it will be its last. Don’t worry tho, it’s just changing dates! For the 2015 show, mark your calendars for July 17-19. I’m sure this will be a good move for the show, as it has always been on Mother’s day weekend and with a younger crowd, students are just just finishing up with finals. I’m looking forward to a huge showing next year!!

[COVERAGE] Exxxotica New Jersey
October 10th, 2013 by Elusive MediaExxxotica returned to the tri-state are for another successful turn out of the 3 day weekend. For the 6th straight year, 20,000 attendees came to the NJ Expo center to experience over 24hrs of shows, seminars, after parties, and meet their favorite stars. The main attraction without at doubt was Jenna Jamerson. It’s been her first appearance to an adult event in the past 7 years and her 1st appearance in New Jersey, which resulted in hundreds of fans lined up prior to her scheduled signing time. They would all have a chance to meet her and get a signed photo. Besides the vast amount of stars, seminars and shows all weekend long, there was over a 100 exhibitors attending this year’s Exxotica. You will find things that you never knew you wanted until you saw them! As always enjoy the photo coverage and see you at the next one!!

[COVERAGE] 5th Annual BimmerStock & Gold Coast Concours
September 13th, 2013 by Elusive MediaMartino Auto Concepts/MAC Auto Couture puts on their annual Bimmerstock and Gold Coast Concours event with all proceedings going directly to Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. As past events, Glen Cove hosts the event by closing down 2 of their main streets. Cars from your classic muscle to your high end exotic, this show has it all. With the wonderful weather brought many cars and spectators, which in return helped raise nearly $80,000 for DRIF! See you next year! Now on with the photos…

[COVERAGE] WEKFest East
August 26th, 2013 by Elusive MediaWEKFEST East returns for a 2nd year to the New Jersey Expo Center, which bring the hottest cars from the East Coast. Space is limited, so WEKFEST’s team hand pick only the best to display. Unlike other shows, there is no side shows or contests(besides awards), WEKFEST solely focus’s on the car culture and rewards the best of the best with a trophy for their category. [COVERAGE] AMA Indy Mile Flat Track
August 25th, 2013 by Elusive MediaAfter many years of attending MotoGP at the Indianapolis Motorspeedway, I finally got a chance to experience where Nicky Hayden started his motorcycle career. The famous Indy Mile flat track race happens the same weekend as MotoGP and held at the Indiana State Fair. With the combination of these two events, it really draws in the crowds from all over the world! The racing doesn’t start til the evening, which works out perfect for my schedule(and the fans) as MotoGP and AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series finishes late afternoon. Since this as my first time shooting this event, I quickly learned to watch out for flying debris from the bikes flying by! Thankfully my gear survived and i got some wicked shots of the races that night!! Enjoy this extra bonus coverage from MotoGP weekend!

[COVERAGE] BimmerFest East
July 22nd, 2013 by Elusive MediaIt’s the 3rd year running on the East Coast, and with a larger crowd than previous years, it shows that BimmerFest is here to stay! But to be honest, I wasn’t sure of how the turnout would be. There was a 60% chance of heavy thunderstorms from NYC to Baltimore. We’ve all been there, thinking it was going to pour, not showing up and find out it was a clear sunny day. But seeing how many caravan’s were be organized, this event was going to be good either way. And thankfully the thunderstorms were no where to be seen!
Took keep your mind off the heat and keep the crowd entertained, Bimmerworld had a car unveil midday, while Miss MagnaFlow (Amanda Landry) fans could meet and get her autograph throughout the day. A BMW tattoo contest, plenty of giveaways from the many vendors, and of course the awards! Props to everyone that made this event great(Tuner Motorsports was the main sponsor) and the guy that won for highest mileage BMW at 518k miles! wow! C-ya next year BimmerFest! Lets hope its a bit cooler, at least less than 100F!

[COVERAGE] Fresh Meet Summer Bash
June 30th, 2013 by Elusive MediaThe ever so popular Fresh Meet is here, from the daily driver to the garage queen, it was all there for your viewing pleasure. Vendors were lined up throughout the “meet” and prizes from cash, tshirts or even a Honda Ruckus were up for grabs! Along with a couple hundred cars(anyone have the total?) throughout the day and alimbo contest, everyone was kept entertained. With the chance of rain for the past 2 weeks, and including for the Fresh Meet, some where worried about how it would turn in out, but with an earlier hour opening (9:30am), and a light drizzle that didn’t come til 2pm, there was plenty of sun for the early arrivals. I’m sure everyone can agree, but we are looking forward to the next “FRESH Meet”!

[COVERAGE] Formula Drift: RD4 The Gauntlet
June 25th, 2013 by Elusive MediaFormula Drift returns to New Jersey for another sold out crowd. The Gauntlet sure did stand up to its name; with multiple crashes in turn 1 and drivers bumping in each other as the they all were fighting to stay in the fight for the win, it surely kept the crowd entertained. For the past years, the track has been in a figure 8 configuration, this year it was changed into a “mirror like” configuration with 2 high speed clipping points in the center.
After a long 2 days battling it out, Chris Forsberg driving his NOS Energy Drink/Hankook Nissan 370z takes 3rd from Darren McNamara driving his Falken Tire Nissan 240SX. The final showdown was down to Daigo Saito & Justin Pawlak. Justin Pawlak in the Falken Ford Mustang was the number one qualifier, but Daigo Saito in his Achilles/Bridges Racing Lexus SC430 & Championship points leader puts the pressure on and Justin Pawlak spins out chasing Daigo Sainto, which gives him the win!
Round 4 is the halfway point in the championship, Dagio has a 60 point lead and having the top 6 only separated by less than 100pts, one bad weekend for one and good one for another could put a driver in the fight for the championship. Should be an exciting rest of the season! Round 5, Throwdown continues at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA on July 19-20, 2013. [COVERAGE] Carlisle Performance & Style ’13
May 20th, 2013 by Elusive MediaPerformance and Style never fails with a vast variety of cars, vendors, and contests throughout the entire weekend. P&S kicked off the weekend with a late afternoon cruise-in and the recently popular “Limbo” style contest. Even with a chance of rain for Friday night into saturday, the cars kept rolling in. Auto-X and drifting took place through the day, as showers made the track a bit more of a challenge. Ms. Carlisle P&S gets a refresh this year, as they broke the contest into 2 parts; feedback from participants and spectators all agreed it was a great change. Midday the sun breaks from the clouds, which was perfect timing as the 2nd park of Ms. Carlisle starts and shortly after the popular burnout competition, which had some hilarious and outstanding cars participating. Annie Costello takes the crown for Ms. Carlisle while Chris Taber in his ’77 Chevy Camaro. For all the winners, check out carlisleevents.com.
