August 31st, 2022 by Elusive MediaMotoAmerica returns the Pittsburgh International Race Complex, a 2.78mile track about 40 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, PA. 7 classes classes of racing came to battle it out. The Medallia Superbike has been keeping us on our toes with Petrucci and Gagne swapping for the championship in the last round. We also had a tricky weekend with a bit of dry and wet practices. While day two started of wets, the 2nd race for superbike ended up dry. And to everyone’s amazement, all races ended up being in the dry, despite an 80% chance of rain in the afternoon. While Petrucci had a 13 point lead coming into Pittsburgh, Gagne has always been strong here. Gagne riding away with two 1st places and Petrucci coming away with a 2nd and 3rd. Scholtz came back with two podiums after being away during the last round. It will be an enjoyable 4 more races with Gagne and Petrucci separated by 1 point!! See you in New Jersey!
