This years NE BBQ was once again hosted by Irene (AKA – Preludechick89); which took place outside of Allentown, PA. We started off the BBQ ~1pm for a meet and greet while eating a bit before heading off for the cruise. The Cruise toured around historic towns and gave us great scenery of the Blue Mountains. Half way through the cruise we stopped at a local school for a quick photo-op of our cars and the group that went along for the ride. When we arrived back at the house, we played some volleyball, chatted it up with friends, ate "more" food, and drank as much alcohol as we could handle…and some a bit more than they could handle (which I'll leave out names =p). While others saw this as a great opportunity to get some help from other prelude enthusiasts. As the sun started to set, the fireworks started to light up the sky w/ some impressive explosive power! Thankfully most of us came out uninjured from the great firework display, besides someone's right ear and a tent (lol, thanks for taking it for the team). After the fireworks, some people decided to bail, while others started up a poker game and/or chatted it up with fellow bbq'ers. After all said and done, the BBQ was an amazing time like every year and the weather held off despite the weather forecast.
Thanks to Irene, Paul, Irene's parents, Kirill, Eric, and Ryan for helping put on an awesome BBQ! If I forgot anyone else … sorry =)
