The relay was put on to commemorate Ferrari's 60th anniversary. They were on the UK leg of the race and happen to be in London while i was there over the weekend. I was actually across the street at a Aston Martin dealership when i started to hear the roar of the engines. Sadly i didn't get to many shots from across the road; damn London traffic! Right when i thought they were all gone, they started to come back around a block 1/2 away from me. I ran my ass up there and grab as many shots as i could…
enjoy!

The spectators and racers lucked out with great weather over the 2 day drag event. As racing conditions were at their prime, there were many records set at Englishtown spread across all classes.
Ron Lummus, in Hot Rod class, set a record of 181.40mph, while Jeremy Lookofsky set a time record of 9.70 seconds in the Honda Tuning All Motor Class. Jason Hunt had something to brag about after setting records in both speed (195.19mph) and time (7.51secs) in the Pro FWD Class. And finally in the Modified class, Jorge Lazcano set a time record of 7.49secs and Paul Efantis set a speed record of 181.96mph.
The Winners of the weekend were Brad Personett (Pro FWD), Hunt (Pro FWD), Lazcano (Modified), Lummus (Hot Rod), and Norris Prayoonto (Honda Tuning All Motor). Congrats to them all.
Along with the NHRA event, Englishtown had a Car Show, Sound Off, Bikini Contest and Sound Off.

This was the first year for Carlisle Performance and Style and they sure did put on a great event with over 1600 cars showing. The days were full of celebrates (Unique Whips, DJ Lady Tribe, Playboy Playmate Destiny Davis, +…), contests (bikini, hot wing eating, burnout, + …), and shows (car, motocross +…). Good news for people that couldn’t make it this time around is this won’t be a one time deal show; Carlisle already has next years planned for May 4-6, 2007! We plan to be there and hopefully you will also!

SEMA has always been an event that you just cannot miss. For the third straight year, SEMA has blessed the North-East with an awesome show. The rain did not stop the huge crowd from attending this years event. This year SEMA decided to move the event to the Fort Washington Expo Center. Fort Washington Expo Center is just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The location brought it the best of the best around the north-east region. From "what's new" to "all-out-performance" the show delivered an awesome experience, as what you would expect from SEMA.

I arrived at the show at 4pm and left 8pm with my lower back aching; which tells you there is plenty to see! If you own a motorcycle or looking into purchasing a motorcycle sometime in the future, this is a great event to come check out.
Along with the manufactures having the newest models of motorcycles on display and custom choppers for purchase, there is a vast amount of aftermarket parts, gear, and merchandise (videos, clothing, etc from clubs) that is for sale. And if you didn't think there was enough to  see, they even had a stunt show with pocket size dirt bikes.
Sadly this was my first time attending the show, but sure won't be my last.

I have been to A LOT of the Hot Import Nights events, but, this time around was a totally different experience. I had the opportunity to work as a volunteer for the show.

Not knowing what to expect, I came in there with a positive attitude and the willingness to help out. It was a 4 hr shift that was totally worth it. The people running the show/event were really down to earth and I definitely wouldn’t mind doing it again.

Being a staff at the event gave me access to places a regular spectator wouldn’t be allowed in. I took full advantage of that and I hope you like some of the backstage pictures that are available in the gallery. Thanks to Wayne for taking some of the pictures.

We also got the opportunity to meet our featured models at the event. Thank you Molly and Jennifer for being a good sport and allowing us to take pictures of you.

Thanks to Visiion/HIN for the “behind the scenes” experience.
