The backdrop of the location is a great change from shooting events indoors or in a parking lot. Cars are lined up next to the airport&#8217;s runway, inside airplane hangers, and along the the roads in the airport; and of course having airplanes lines up behind, along with a helicopter taking off all day makes for some fun shooting! The location makes for a limited space, which gives the show a bit of an exclusive feeling to the cars in their selection. After experiencing the show, I&#8217;m sad to say this has been my first time covering this event. It all came about after speaking with a Canibeat member at the FormulaD Canada event outside of Montreal. He mention he drives down each year to help put on this amazing event and i can see why.
